Dorsey Trailers has been in the boat trailer manufacturing business for 35 years. Owner Dorsey Brown has successfully managed the company for the last 30 years from it's manufacturing facilities in Kingfisher, OK. During the mid 90's through 2006 the company had 36 active dealers throughout the U.S. and 40 employees.

In 2007 the recession hit and many boat dealers went out of business causing boat trailer sales to drop by 50%.  In January of 2010 Dorsey Brown decided to close production down due to the economy and health reasons. The Dorsey Boat Trailer is well accepted and respected in the industry. Several dealers have expressed a desire to again carry the line should production resume.

We believe there is significant profit potential to consider in purchasing this business. Though production has terminated and the company is closed the Dorsey Trailer Trademark name has been saved through the State of Oklahoma.
